IEI Pajama Jam '17

On June 17th, the parents and children of the Englewood community were treated to a day filled with face painting, movies, and getting to know IEI. The kids of this event truly had a blast. IEI in total gave away about 200 pjs (some families received two pair). They also will continue to give away the remaining pjs through the summer. From the eighty kids that attended, even signing up an additional 12 for the summer camp bringing our registration number to 28 which is three over our limit. IEI's visibility in the neighborhood increased as many neighbors indicated that they'd heard of us but didn't know we were at this location. GCL youth were a huge help as they supervised some of the activities and helped distribute pjs, served popcorn during the movie, etc.
This Pajama Jam event sounds like so much fun. It is great when communities come together for relaxed and enjoyable gatherings. I remembered feeling that same relaxed vibe when I finally finished a project and could take a break. I got some assignment editing help to make sure my work was in good shape before I stepped away. Enjoying events and celebrating achievements is so much better when you know your work is taken care of. It helped me understand large projects better. Nice post . Your post make me smile
