HONORING GUN VIOLENCE VICTIMS AND SURVIVOR FAMILIES
The Greater Englewood community will honor gun violence victims and survivor families during Wear Orange Weekend by hosting Peace Fest: Wear Orange Edition on Saturday, June 4th. This year’s event is organized by Moms Demand Action, Imagine Englewood If, Think Outside Da Block and We Grow Chicago. We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting this year’s event on the Peace Campus, 64th & Honore Street, from 2:00 and 6:00pm.
This year's block party style event will include free food, music, basketball tournament, resource fair, fun and giveaways!

The 8th National Gun Violence Awareness Day will fall on June 3.
The day will kick off Wear Orange Weekend held June 4-5.
