The Imagine Englewood if... Community Garden Project (ICGP) was founded to promote the beautification of the Greater Englewood community. The Community Garden Project also provides environmental education to the residents Englewood and West Englewood. The ICGP particularly engages youth by providing environmental information, such as soil toxins and air quality. The Youth community gardens work project is presently held at:

The Community Garden Project was initially designed to beautify the community, while also providing vital environmental information about lead poisoning and its devastating effects on young children. Imagine Englewood if... engages children and in its Lead Education/Awareness Outreach program. Due to the nature and the context of the Greater Englewood community, community organizing is a primary goal and activity that increases residents' awareness. Therefore, participating youth must obtain up-to-date environmental information that increases their capacity and ability to make a difference within their neighborhood and their community.
